I'm glad you're here.
Most people I meet have a financial life that just sort of happened to them. They picked a 401(k) option years ago and never looked at it again. They bought a house, took on debt, started a business, had kids, and the money decisions got made along the way without much of a plan behind them. That works until it doesn't.
I spend my days helping successful professionals and business owners change that. The part I actually enjoy is watching someone realize their money can pay for the life they want instead of running the show.
A lot of the people I work with own their practice. Dentists, chiropractors, veterinarians. Their path looks different from most. Years of school, income that starts late and then arrives all at once, a business and a personal balance sheet tangled up together. It is easy to look at all of that and decide planning is something to handle later. Parents juggling two careers and a mortgage tell me the same thing. Later has a way of never showing up on its own.
So that is what this blog is for. No get rich quick material. No lectures about your coffee habit. Just how to line up what you do with your money against what you actually care about.
I'll write about where your beliefs about money came from, because most of them were set before you turned fifteen and they are still driving your decisions today. About how to plan for the years that go badly while still building toward the ones that go well. About the decisions business owners make inside their practice that quietly show up in their personal wealth a decade later. And about how to bring your spouse and your kids into the conversation, because what your children learn about money at home will matter more than most of the investment choices you will ever make.
My goal is to give you enough clarity to make intentional decisions, so your money stops being a source of stress and starts being useful.
Thanks for reading. If something here raises a question about your own situation, reach out.
